This fully integrated, interactive touch screen system allows the entire facility to be controlled by touching a computer graphic screen. The Commander™ can be configured to control absolutely any system in the facility. And because it uses non-proprietary, industrial software, the touch screen module is still fully compatible with our Menu Driven Graphic Control Panels. Each Commander™ station presents an easy to use, economical alternative to conventional, more complex systems - resulting in considerable savings of both time and money.

Each detention facility may now be customized - tailoring software to meet the specific needs of the facility.

The Commander™ can have the ability for multi-level passwords to logon to the system, limit operator access, and access different areas of the facility. Also, passwords enable any one touch screen to assume the operations of any other touch screen in the facility in case of a malfunction.

The graphic display of the touch screen system is easy to understand. Each controlled and monitored device in the facility has a corresponding icon. Intercom stations look like intercom stations; doors look like doors; and cameras look like cameras. Neutral colors are used when a function is not in use.

Each Commander™ station can have Digitized Voice Interaction (DVI). When the door is unlocked, the touch screen verbally confirms to the operator the action has occurred. All operator actions - system warnings, system emergencies - are verbally announced to the operator. Pop-up windows allow officers to answer intercoms or address door violations.
